AdvKayaker Guided Kayak Tours for Crystal River, Kings Bay and all waterways in the Nature Coast of Florida

Featured

AdvKayaker provides Guided Kayak Tours in and around Crystal River and the Nature Coast of Florida.
We don’t do large groups and prefer no more than two to three people to keep things at a personal level. Our Rates are very affordable and you won’t feel like you’re on a bus or in a crowd on the water when you take an adventurous kayak tour with us. We get you away from all of that and up close to Mother Nature.

paddling the Withlacoochee River
A quiet day paddling the Withlacoochee River.
kayak yankeetown
Kayaking a half mile offshore from the Withlacoochee delta in the gulf.

Contact Marty at AdvKayaker for your kayak tour. We float the Kings Bay, Gulf of Mexico or any and all of the beautiful local rivers and lakes. Ring me at 352-287-2606 or you can email me at advkayaker@gmail.com to make a reservation. I’ll be happy to answer any questions that you may have.
We try and get video’s on most kayak trips, we always get a picture though. Sometimes with a real camera too.
Thanks, happy paddling and remember, always bring back more than you left with.
Marty

kayaking with manatee in crystal river
Manatee in Kings Bay, Crystal River. The Manatee in the Three Sisters Spring this time of year are everywhere. The counts are way up from just a few years ago.
This was taken at about a 20 minute paddle off Ft Island Beach. Watching a stingray hunting for a snack. I just thought it was pretty incredible. I just love it out there at night.
manatee in the gulf
Manatee in the Gulf of Mexico at 10 o’clock
tandem kakay paddle on the gulf of mexico shoreline
A gorgeous sunset on the Gulf of Mexico. One of the nicer things about going into the Gulf on a kayak here is that the areas are full of very shallow oyster beds. Boats simply cannot navigate some of the best places to see the marine life. Go just a little ways off shore and the water clears up dramatically.
necky tandem guided tour on the withlacoochee river inglis florida
A fun afternoon on the Withlacoochee with a great couple of kayakers. This particular area was in Inglis FL. A sleepy little town founded by the shrimpers decades ago. Expect to see river otters, gar, possibly a very harmless alligator or two, birds of all shapes and sizes and turtles. Those are in abundance.
brown sea star i saw on a night kayak paddle in the gulf of mexico
Starfish a few miles out in the Gulf at night. This one happened to be the very first one I had ever seen here since you have to go out a mile or two. All those specks in the water? It’s a little sand but mostly it’s food for the marine life. Our waters here on the Nature Coast are full of life.
More on Intertidal zones.
Just a beautiful day for an afternoon paddle tour on the Withlacoochee River
Just a beautiful day for an afternoon paddle tour on the Withlacoochee River.
kayak paddle on lake henderson florida
You should have heard the frogs. You’re looking at what is called a Mesic Hammock. Basically a high spot in a very shallow area. It’s not at all uncommon to see raccoon, wild boar or deer while paddling past one. They are excellent wildlife habitats.
brown spiny sea star seen on an afternoon kayak trip
No worries, Patrick (and his friend a few pictures up) are harmless unless your a mollusk. Patrick is a Brown Spiny Sea Star very common to this area of the gulf.
