About

My name is Marty Johnson and to save me from having to update my age every year, I’m around 65 and these about pages are always a serious pain to write. I always want them kept short but describing myself to a stranger can’t exactly be very descriptive and done in a sentence or two. So, sorry but here it comes. Feel free to move on at any time.
I live for Mother Nature, dogs, kayaking, adventures, all outdoors, all wildlife and dogs. Yeah, I like dogs a lot!
I’m self employed, semi retired, and self taught in just about all that I know. I’m a US Air Force vet from a US Air Force family. I love great people and can’t get far enough away from the bad ones.
Kayaking enables me to escape crowds and recharge my batteries. When paddling alone, I like to push my limits. When I’m on land, my canine pal Bulleit helps out.
Questions or comments? I’m just a call away. 352-287-2606 ask for Marty but you’ll probably get him anyway. Prefer email? advkayaker@gmail.com

A couple miles offshore in the Gulf. Peaceful place, peaceful time. The island to myself and a few critters.
” it was Huge… looked like a whale, came up under the yak and… Woof!”
Bulleit, the dog of a thousand expressions.
